Jennifer Parry Dodge was born and raised in Iowa in 1973. She attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and graduated with a BFA in Fine Arts Printmaking in 1995. She now lives and works in Los Angeles, CA with her husband. ERMIE first began as a blog, and evolved into a small clothing collection. The blog and the clothing line is named after her great aunt Ermie, who encouraged Jennifer in her creative endeavors. ERMIE garments are made by hand in limited editions in Los Angeles, CA. The garments in the current collection feature original prints digitally printed in North Carolina and San Francisco using water-based pigment inks on natural fiber textiles. No additional chemicals are used in the printing or preparation process. Wash by hand / on delicate setting in cold water using phosphate-free detergent, or dry clean.
