Summer is officially here and Weltenbuerger wants to let you know about WELTENBUERGER & FRIENDS an event every second Saturday of the month.
A fun way to shop after store hours at Weltenbuerger with up to six other vintage vendors and designers.
MC Colored Craig from WeUsed2Dance will be spinning music all night. Drinks will also be provided while you shop throughout the store.

For those of you who have come through Weltenbuerger in the last three weeks have probably checked out our sneak peek pop up shop for A Current Affair. This little taste of what’s to come is only here for one more week. So don’t miss out! As for the big event, Emmy-winning costume designer and author of Color Your Style, David Zyla, will be curating this Spring 2011 Edition. A Current Affair will take place Saturday April 2nd from 6pm-10pm and Sunday April 3rd from 10am-5pm. The two day event will be located at The Cooper Design Building downtown LA. Join A Current Affair: pop up vintage marketplace for the inaugural exhibition at the new Weltenbuerger second level pop up space. The show premieres Friday March 11 and will feature select vintage collections from LA and beyond, including Scout, Siren Vintage, VOK, Nyali, Marie Monsod, and Mercy Vintage. Running through the end of March, this special edition pop up will act as a preview to the third installment of A Current Affair, happening April 2+3 at the Cooper Design Space in Downtown LA.
WELTENBUERGER is German and means “WORLDCITIZEN.” Founded 2008 in Germany by Bryan, Weltenbuerger grew from a concept store to an online shop and community of fashion-forward individuals who love to experiment! Come out and experience abstract film, performance art, and music on Saturday, February 5th when Weltenbuerger Art Space presents the first ever LA screening of artist Isaac Richard’s documentary debut, “Transfer Progress.” Based on fashion icon Sally Johnson and her journey through the growing art scene in Detroit, Richard raises the question, “Facing ontological fissure, will Sally J. say ‘No way!’ or fall prey to the maneuvers of these new creatures?” Experience an ontological fissure of your own as Richard reveals how abstract reality really is through this film. Don’t know what ontological fissure is? You will after watching “Transfer Progress!” Sally Johnson’s clothing line, A Agency will also be represented in the Weltenbuerger Art Space. Following the screening, Performance artist Colin Self will be doing a live piece, “You Don’t Fuck With Women” to accompany the screening and DJ Alexis Blair Penney will perform throughout the evening. The Weltenbuerger Store is moving! After a great 2010 we are happy to announce that we are moving into a spacier, two-level location in the middle of the Vermont Shopping Strip beginning March 1. The new Space is a perfect fit as we can stay near our loyal, local supporters, increase exposure and have more space for our curated Fashion and Art events.
