C. Neeon
Based in Berlin Clara Leskovar and Doreen Schulz the designers behind c.neeon graduated from Kunsthochschule Berlin Weissensee in 2004. Where Clara studied textile design and Doreen Fashion design.
The graduation collection “daydreamnation” was presented march 2004 during Berlin fashion week at “Becks fashion experience”
The duo whose collections major on strong graphic prints with a hint of Mondrian and silhouettes with intriguing volume and architectural, asymmetric shape began their label while still at the KHB college where they originally met. Typical for c.neeon design are extensive prints which are always related to the pattern. They mix heavy knit with light silk fabrics or embroidery with hand printed fabrics or digital prints 2004 they won the Galleries Lafayette Fashion Channel competition which resulted in an exhibition at Galleries Lafayette Paris.
They won at the Hyeres International Festival the prestigious Grand Prix 2005. Afterwards London Fashion Week invited them to apply for New Generation which they were duly awarded. Due to this they had their own show at London Fashion Week. Their chosen title c.neeon is an amalgamation of their childhood nicknames.

Since summer 2005 c.neeon has their atelier in Lichtenberg, where they share an old kindergarden with other people, like photographers, painters, grafic designers or writers, but they do not only share the house, they all do projects together, for example, the graphic designers, anschlaege.de, helped organizing and creating the first solo exhibiton of c.neeon in summer 2006 at the Kunsgewerbemuseum in Berlin. C.neeon presented there 30 to 40 outfits together with collages, videos and fotomontages.
In November 2007 c.neeon were one of the 10 finalists of the Mango Fashion Awards.
In 2008 they participated at different international art and design exhibitions, for example at Illustrative in Zürich or Create Berlin goes London in London.
In autumn 2009 they won the Baltic fashion Award in the category, best female ready to wear collection
C.neeon is presenting two mix collections every year including showrooms in Paris, Tokyo, Berlin and New York. Since December 2010 you can buy c.neeon collection in their own shop in Berlin and via www.cneeon-shop.de and in over 20 different high class fashion and concept stores all over the world.
