Sally Johnson
“Transfer Progress” a Film Screening from Emerging Detroit-Based Artist Isaac Richard

Come out and experience abstract film, performance art, and music on Saturday, February 5th when Weltenbuerger Art Space presents the first ever LA screening of artist Isaac Richard’s documentary debut, “Transfer Progress.”

Based on fashion icon Sally Johnson and her journey through the growing art scene in Detroit, Richard raises the question, “Facing ontological fissure, will Sally J. say ‘No way!’ or fall prey to the maneuvers of these new creatures?” Experience an ontological fissure of your own as Richard reveals how abstract reality really is through this film. Don’t know what ontological fissure is? You will after watching “Transfer Progress!”

Sally Johnson’s clothing line, A Agency will also be represented in the Weltenbuerger Art Space.

Following the screening, Performance artist Colin Self will be doing a live piece, “You Don’t Fuck With Women” to accompany the screening and DJ Alexis Blair Penney will perform throughout the evening. After the event, take your fissured ontology to The Showcave for a mind-blowing after party!
